Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026. This page describes how Lina Massage SPA handles information collected through our website and in-spa visits.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you visit our spa, we collect: your stated name (for room hold purposes), your phone number (if you choose to send arrival times via chat), and verbal preferences about session type and pressure. We do not collect or store medical history, identification documents, or financial information beyond what is processed at the point of payment.

Website information. When you visit our website, our hosting service may automatically collect standard log information (IP address, browser type, device type, time of visit, pages viewed). This information is used for security and basic site analytics only.

Chat interactions. If you use the chat function on our website to send arrival times or ask questions, we retain those messages for service-quality purposes. Messages are not shared with third parties.

2. How we use information

We use information you provide solely for these purposes: holding rooms for guests who chat ahead, answering questions about services and visits, processing payment at the time of service, recognizing returning guests at check-in to remember preferences, and basic spa operations. We do not use information for marketing emails, advertising profiles, or third-party sharing.

3. What we do not collect

We deliberately do not collect: email addresses (we do not run an email list), social security numbers, identification documents, detailed medical history beyond verbally-shared session preferences, or location tracking data from your device. We do not require account creation, do not run a membership database, and do not maintain detailed customer profiles beyond name and stated preferences for repeat-visit recognition.

4. Payment processing

Credit card payments are processed through standard payment processors at the point of sale. We do not store credit card numbers, security codes, or full payment account information on our systems. Payment processor handling of card data is governed by their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance standards.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses minimal cookies for basic functionality (session management, language preference). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tools. We may use basic web analytics to understand which pages are most useful to visitors, but this analysis uses aggregated data without individual identification.

6. Information sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share guest information with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purposes. We may disclose information only when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of guests and staff.

7. Your rights

You can request information about what data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion of your information from our records. Send any such requests in person at our spa or via the chat function on the website. We respond to all reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not provide massage services to minors.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated periodically. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with the updated date.
